The human race is almost completely wiped out by a virus and the few survivors prepare for a battle of good versus evil.
Four part mini-series that attempts to tackle Stephen King's epic novel. It's faithful to the book, but is in dire need of trimming down and really drags on with little to no action. There's good imagery, but the weak acting and lack of thrills don't do justice to King's work.
