A group of friends travelling through Texas are attacked by a family of cannibals.
Unnecessary remake that fails to capture the raw power of the first film. It looks suitably gritty and manages to pull off some scenes that will make your skin crawl, but it doesn't leave a lasting impression like the original did. The characters are really irritating, especially the family who aren't nearly scary enough.
