A family inherit a house only to discover there are ghosts locked in the basement.
Entertaining remake that is notable for some wonderful effects and production design. The house and the ghosts that are trapped there are superbly realised, it's just a shame you don't get time to appreciate them. While the story is a little weak and the film becomes a bit overblown by the end, it's still a solid effort.
