Scanners (1981)

A battle breaks out amongst a secret society of telepaths known as Scanners.
Dull thriller that struggles with a weak plot. The premise could have been better used and the actors look uncomfortable with the material. It does have some memorable sequences but the story just doesn't provide enough entertainment. A film that is lacking in scares and thrills, definitely not one of Cronenberg's best.
