A scientist working on a teleportation experiment accidentally fuses his DNA with that of a fly.
Gory remake of the 50s classic. Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis are superb as the leads and their performances help to ground the story. Cronenberg piles on the gore as Brundle slowly transforms and some of these scenes are really difficult to watch. It's well told though and builds up to a truly heartbreaking climax.
