A couple looking for a new flat are unexpectedly lured into a terrifying trap. While viewing an apartment to let they discover the psychotic landlady has no intention of ever letting them leave.
A decent effort from Balagueró that has some good ideas but ultimately struggles to do anything original with the set up. While it starts well, the story is far too weak to keep you hooked and it's clear the ideas start to run out by the end. The actors do a good job and the apartment setting is well used, giving the film a claustrophobic feel. The biggest downfall though is that the plot isn't fleshed out enough and ultimately that is where it falls short.
