A group of children find a woman dressed as Santa Claus in a well in the woods. They discover that she is a dangerous criminal on the run and offer to help her in exchange for the money she stole.
A strange story that starts out pretty simple but soon takes some unexpectedly dark twists. Though the first half is light on scares, it's interesting to watch as the children slowly become more greedy and cruel. They all do a good job of acting and it's a credit to the director that he got such good performances from a nearly all child cast. It descends into all too familiar territory in the final act but still manages to stay the right side of entertaining.
