A boy receives a mysterious new pet and accidentally causes an outbreak of creatures.
An enjoyable horror comedy that is great fun from start to finish. The story is brilliantly written and the actors do a good job with the material. There is a streak of dark humour throughout that is as mischievous as the gremlins themselves. A wonderfully directed movie that deserves to be called a classic.
