A mother and daughter move into a run-down apartment building that hides a dark secret.
Interesting remake that tries a new approach, focusing more on the human drama aspect than trying to scare you. The acting is superb, especially from Connelly, and the setting is appropriately creepy. While it's not a totally satisfying adaptation, this is still a decent take on the brilliant Japanese original.
