After years in exile, a barber named Sweeney Todd returns to London looking for revenge.
Impressive adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim musical. The dark subject matter is perfectly suited to Burton's macabre style and the cast, in particular Depp and Bonham Carter, are excellent. It manages to be equal parts gruesome and thoroughly entertaining.
