Scientists create a mutant breed of insect that can mimic human form.
A great director, solid cast and interesting concept can't save this frustratingly weak effort. Though it starts promisingly enough the film soon begins to lose its way. It's let down by poor special effects and a convoluted story that focuses on unnecessary sub plots. Despite being well shot and acted, it's still a disappointment.
