At the end of the Spanish Civil War, a young boy is sent to live in an orphanage and is haunted by a mysterious ghost.
Classy thriller that is well directed. The film looks beautiful and the story provides some genuine thrills and surprises. The acting, especially from the young leads, is excellent and although the film veers away from horror towards the end it is still a strong effort.
