Ryuhei Kitamura directs this amazing fantasy film with a gripping story. As with most of his work the action is the strong point and some of the fight scenes are truly stunning. Though it's weighed down by some heavy exposition it's still a fascinating movie that's brilliantly directed and well acted by all the cast.
