A magician using ventriloquism in his act finds it difficult to separate himself from the dummy.
A creepy littlte chiller with a riveting central performance from Anthony Hopkins. It is his portrayal of Corky/Fats that carries the entire film, managing to evoke sympathy for his character even while he is losing his mind. A cleverly directed film that is slow going but never boring.
