When the Nazis attempt to use black magic to help their cause they accidentally conjure up a demon named Hellboy.
Enjoyable adaptation that faithfully brings Mike Mignola's comic to the screen. The casting is perfect, with Ron Perlman becoming Hellboy like no other actor could. The characters are great and it's stylishly directed by del Toro, who deserves a lot of credit for making it all work.
