Dawn Of The Dead (1978)
Dawn Of The Dead (1978)Dir: George A. Romero
Seeking refuge in a secluded shopping mall, four people must fend off hordes of zombies.
Romero's second zombie movie is often regarded as his masterpiece. Mixing satire and horror, this film entertains more than it scares. There's plenty of gore and some clever ideas, even if at times it feels messy and the acting isn't great. Though hindered by its low budget it still manages to be an impressive achievement.
