A meteorite lands in a small town bringing with it a mysterious creature that consumes everything in it's path.
Cheesy sci-fi from the 50s, notable for a young Steve McQueen as the lead. The effects aren't bad for its time and even though it's slow going it does entertain. Apart from McQueen the acting isn't great and it's very dated. Too light on scares and in need of some gory deaths.
