A family move into a new house in Amityville, New York only to find it has a dark secret and is haunted by an evil spirit.
A decent haunted house movie that is supposedly based on true events. The story is an interesting one and the setting is excellent, the house taking on a life of its own. Despite being a bit long and too much overacting from the cast, it's still a pretty effective chiller.
