The Grudge 2 (2006)

A young woman is exposed to the same mysterious curse that afflicted her sister.
A weak sequel that suffers from a lack of original ideas. This time Shimizu tries to add some more backstory to proceedings but too often the film doesn't seem like it knows where it's going. The acting is especially poor and despite the odd decent scare the film struggles to keep you interested.
