Changeling, The

The Changeling (1980)

A man whose family is killed in a road accident retires to a secluded mansion which he soon starts to believe is haunted.
Effectively spooky chiller with a strong lead performance from George C. Scott. The creepy location is used well and the story is interesting enough. But it should really be applauded for its clever use of lighting and strange noises instead of cheap and obvious shocks.
