Shining, The (1980)
The Shining (1980)Dir: Stanley Kubrick
A man becomes the caretaker of a secluded hotel, but when he and his family move in things take a sinister turn for the worse.
Possibly the greatest horror film ever made. The acting and direction are top-notch and the location is consistently used to brilliant effect. Extremely atmospheric and genuinely chilling, with some of the most memorable scenes in any horror movie.
