R-Point
R-Point (2004)Dir: Su-chang Kong
A Korean platoon are sent to investigate disturbing radio signals being sent from a place where nine soldiers mysteriously vanished.
Slow burning horror tale set during the Vietnam war. The story is fascinating and the war-time setting is cleverly used. It is consistently creepy and atmospheric with the majority of scares coming from what you don't see. An intelligent effort with a great final act.
