A man who has lost his faith becomes the guardian of a box containing a holy relic.
An interesting idea that can't quite live up to its aspirations. There are some decent scares and the atmosphere is suitably dark and creepy, but the film runs out of ideas as it heads towards a disappointing conclusion. Despite the director's best efforts this is an average film that could have been more.
