A University student rents a room in an old boarding-house where a 300-year old witch resides behind the walls looking for a child sacrifice.
One of the worst episodes in the series, the intriguing start soon gives way to a muddled and bizarre story. Inspired by a H.P. Lovecraft tale and directed by Re-Animator's Stuart Gordon, this is a poor effort with too many wasted ideas and not enough scares. There are a few gory scenes but the effects are badly done, the rat creature with the face of a human looks particularly awful. It does have a decent central performance however, but it deserves to be in a better episode.
